MOTOR TREND Korean edition is a sophisticated car magazine that targets men in their 30's who enjoy affluent lifestyle and are concerned about the latest car trends. It aims to entertain target readers and let them know how to enjoy automobiles better. "During the eight years of running Panther Car Company in the U.K., I became an avid reader of car magazines. So it was natural for me to think about publishing a magazine truly devoted to cars in S. Korea when returning from England to Korea. When returning to Korea after selling Panther to Ssang-Yong (Korean Car Company)., I was greeted and interviewed by journalists asking me what my next move was and I told them I wanted to publish a car magazine in a country (S. Korea) that had a flourishing car industry but yet to have a magazine specializing in cars. Finally I have come to publish 'Motor Trend Korea' which is recognized as one of the world's most influential auto magazine. <Motor Trend> is the first specialized car magazine I have published, so I feel great responsibility to deliver fast and accurate information to the readers. As of late, the auto market rolls out with new car models as frequently as fashion designers with their new line each season. It is extremely difficult to keep up with all the names of new cars, let alone the functionality, style, and gas mileage. Even for an expert, how could we possibly pick the car we want most without being properly informed?
